Affiliate Disclosure

ByteScope may earn a commission from some links. Here is exactly how that works.

What an affiliate link is

Some articles link to retailers or services. If a link is part of an affiliate programme, ByteScope may receive a small commission when you buy something after clicking it. The price you pay is not affected.

How we mark them

Affiliate and sponsored links are marked with the rel="sponsored" attribute, and articles containing them carry a disclosure.

What commissions never buy

  • A positive review or a higher score.
  • Inclusion in a buying guide or recommendation list.
  • Removal or softening of criticism.

Advertising

ByteScope may display advertising in the future. Advertising is kept separate from editorial content, is clearly distinguishable from articles, and advertisers have no influence over what we publish.

Questions

If anything about a link or a disclosure is unclear, ask us through the contact page and we will explain it.
