Information we collect

  • Newsletter email addresses. If you subscribe, we store the address you provide so we can send the newsletter.
  • Messages you send us. Contact form submissions are stored so we can read and reply.
  • Basic technical data. Standard server logs and aggregate page view counts used to understand which stories are read.

What we do not do

We do not sell reader data. We do not create advertising profiles from the data described above.

Cookies and advertising

ByteScope may serve advertising in the future. If and when third-party advertising is enabled, those providers may set their own cookies, and this policy will be updated to name them before that happens.

  • Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any issue.
  • Ask us to delete the email address or message we hold for you.
